Rosalind Sanderson is an artist and art facilitator based in Scotland, who graduated from Edinburgh College of Art’s MA Fine Art programme in 2019. Rosalind's practice often takes the form of colourful and expressionistic paintings and prints. Her work is strongly inspired by her environment and experiences and fuses elements of printmaking, painting and collage. For her degree show in 2019 she was selected as a 'Saatchi Art Rising Star', and has works in a number of collections, including that of NHS Lothian.
Rosalind’s interest in using art to create a positive impact on people has led her to freelance work with arts learning, community arts and art in healthcare initiatives, including Edinburgh Art Society, Jupiter Artland, Linlithgow Museum, Whale Arts Agency, Articulate Cultural Trust and Art in Healthcare Charity. She is currently working as Arts Facilitator for Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity, and as an artist for a group at Whale Arts Agency. Beyond art she is hugely influenced by music, which she has been able to incorporate into creative workshops and collaborations.
