Ideas of landscape, universal elements and natural rhythms of waves, rain and wind informed my degree show work. Although abstract, compositions diagram natural phenomena and fragments of landscape. I enjoyed exploring printmaking,  and combining its ordered and technical processes with more intuitive elements of paint, collage and colour. I worked spontaneously, responding to and adjusting marks as work progressed, and used a range of mediums to produce dynamic, layered pieces which hold within them a sense of rhythm and flow.
